Logan Square homes line a landmark boulevard ring: Bedford limestone greystones on Palmer Square and Kedzie, brick two- and three-flats on side streets, and new apartments behind old Milwaukee Avenue storefronts. Pavlo, who leads our North Side crew, knows these plaster and brick walls and can usually reach you the same day.
TV mounting in Logan Square is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or brick.
Greystones and three-flats have plaster over wood lath inside and brick party walls. Plaster gets slow drilling and anchors into the studs behind the lath; brick gets sleeve anchors in the brick faces. Brick and masonry.
Garden units have one or two walls that are the building's brick or concrete foundation under drywall. We confirm which wall is masonry before choosing anchors, and keep electronics off damp exterior walls.
Converted condos often mix new drywall on some walls with original plaster on others — we check each wall. Cables go inside new drywall ($69) or along plaster in a painted raceway ($39). Raceway guide.
Sports TVs over the bar and menu screens go up before opening. Old brick walls get sleeve anchors, and cables run in slim raceways painted to match.
42,740 homes and about 84,749 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure. Census figures for ZIP Code 60647 — there is no separate Census boundary for Logan Square.
With a median year built of 1938 and 65.5% of homes built before 1960, most TV walls here are plaster over wood lath or brick, rarely plain drywall. Another 44.1% of units sit in two- to four-unit buildings, so many living rooms share a brick party wall with the neighbors. We plan for test holes, slow drilling, anchors set in the brick faces and a cable route around the radiator under the window.
The Logan Square Boulevards district runs 2.5 miles along Logan, Kedzie, Palmer and Humboldt boulevards, and most of its buildings went up between about 1880 and 1930. It became a Chicago Landmark in 2005, so changes to a building's exterior go through city landmark review. A TV in your front parlor or bedroom is interior work and does not touch that review. A screen on a street-facing porch or a bracket on the facade is another matter: get the city's approval first, then book us for the day after. Bedford limestone on a boulevard greystone is a facing laid over brick, not structure, so no bracket ever hangs on the stone. Inside, Pavlo finds studs behind the lath with small test holes, as our plaster guide shows, or anchors straight into solid brick.

Milwaukee Avenue is changing fast near the Blue Line, where transit-oriented zoning rules relaxed limits close to the station. The old Hollander Storage & Moving building at 2418 N. Milwaukee is set to become 62 apartments over shops, a six-story building at 2755 N. Milwaukee adds 60 more, and at 1968 N. Milwaukee new homes rose behind the kept Weyland Building facade. These units have new drywall rather than plaster, so a visit is often closer to an hour. Cables are the usual question. Inside city limits we run in-wall cables with our licensed low-voltage partner, and the TV's power goes through a listed in-wall kit, never its own cord. Where the lease rules out openings, a slim painted raceway costs $39. Read about cable concealment, compare lofts in Wicker Park, or send us a photo of the wall.

No wall openings allowed by the lease, so painted raceway carries the cables to the console.
