Alpharetta was a town of about 3,000 in 1981; today it is a GA-400 city of golf-course subdivisions, tall gas-fireplace family rooms and new townhomes rising around Avalon. Roman's north crew books same-day visits here, scans every wall and quotes one flat price before drilling.
TV mounting in Alpharetta is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or plaster.
Two-story family rooms have the fireplace in the middle of a 16 to 20-foot wall. The natural TV spot is far too high; we talk through a lower placement, a pull-down mount ($99) or a side wall before drilling. For screens over 85 inches, two technicians. TVs over fireplaces.
Finished basements have drywall on furring strips over concrete on the foundation walls and wood studs on interior walls. We confirm which wall is which before choosing anchors, and run cables to an equipment closet. Concrete walls.
Alpharetta media rooms get 85 to 100-inch TVs. Up to 85 inches is $129; 86 and up start at $179 with two technicians and a heavy-duty mount. Mounts for 85-inch TVs.
Screened porches and covered decks are the Georgia outdoor room. Outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware go under the roof; we seal the cable entry and angle the screen away from the afternoon sun. Outdoor TVs.
26,223 homes and about 66,855 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median year built of 1996 and 56.6% of homes built from 1980 to 1999, most walls we open here are drywall on wood studs, with the builder's cable outlet set high over the mantel. Chases in post-2000 houses sometimes hide studs 24 inches apart, so we scan before choosing a plate. And 60.3% of homes heat mainly with utility gas, so every gas-log fireplace TV starts with our 15-minute burn test.
Windward, Kingsbridge and Country Club of the South were framed in the 1980s and 1990s, and their family rooms put a gas fireplace in the center of a tall wall. There we mount to wood studs and usually set the screen lower than the builder planned; for a real fix, a pull-down mount brings the TV to eye level on movie night. Brookside and the cul-de-sacs off Haynes Bridge lean on terrace-level basements, where the buried walls are concrete behind furring and the downhill wall is framed. Closer to Avalon, 321 Vaughan, Alpha Park and Nortpoint Commons are newer builds with tight living rooms, so a flat mount and hidden cables keep things clean. Chiswick Park, Empire Communities' 43 planned townhomes at GA-400 and Old Milton Parkway, will add more fresh drywall soon. The same tall-room layouts continue east into Johns Creek.

The mount is quick work, but a new outlet behind the screen is electrical work. Alpharetta's 2026 residential permit guide sends that through plan review on the city's portal, with a yard card posted before anyone starts, and one third-party estimate puts the first review near 10 business days. If you want the cords gone this week, we fit a listed in-wall power kit ($69) that feeds from your existing outlet; the TV's own cord never travels loose inside the wall. Townhome owners near Avalon should read their HOA rules before any patio TV. Then count your screens: family room, basement bar, bonus room. Each extra TV in the same visit is $40. Tell us about a soundbar too, since it mounts in the same trip. Send a photo of each wall and Roman's crew can often arrive that afternoon.

The concrete was out of flat, so Roman and a second technician shimmed a rail; the owner's electrician had added a dedicated circuit.
