The Sony XR90M2 comes in 65, 75, 85 and 115". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 300 × 300 mm on the 65 and 75", 400 × 400 mm on the 85" and 1000 × 700 mm on the 115". Without the stand it weighs 58.6 to 235.3 lb; the table has the screws and the US model number for each size.

The Sony XR90M2 against its lineup

11 of the 12 Sony 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 300 × 300 mm. The others use 400 × 200 (1). 2 of them weigh more than this one. At 58.6 lb it is about 25% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

Screws, studs and height

Sony does not list the screw size for this model. Most TVs use M6 or M8; try the screws in the bracket's kit by hand before tightening anything.

65 and 75": The holes are 11.8" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

85": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

115": The holes are 39.4" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.
