The Samsung Q60D comes in 32, 43, 50, 55, 65, 70, 75 and 85". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 100 × 100 mm on the 32", 200 × 200 mm on the 43, 50 and 55", 400 × 300 mm on the 65 and 70", 400 × 400 mm on the 75" and 600 × 400 mm on the 85". The Samsung Q60D against its lineup

38 of the 53 Samsung 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 300 mm. The others use 300 × 200 (7), 200 × 200 (6) and 400 × 400 (2). 25 of them weigh more than this one. At 46.1 lb it is close to the 47 lb typical of 65" panels.

Screws, studs and height

Samsung lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

32": The holes are 3.9" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

43, 50 and 55": The holes are 7.9" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

65, 70 and 75": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

85": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →
