The LG QNED85B against its lineup
9 of the 35 LG 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 300 × 300 mm. The others use 300 × 200 (21), 400 × 400 (2), 400 × 300 (2) and 400 × 200 (1). 11 of them weigh more than this one. At 47.4 lb it is close to the 47 lb typical of 65" panels.
Screws, studs and height
LG lists M6 screws for the four holes. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
65": The holes are 11.8" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.
75": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →
