The LG QNED82A against its lineup

21 of the 35 LG 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 300 × 200 mm. The others use 300 × 300 (9), 400 × 400 (2), 400 × 300 (2) and 400 × 200 (1). 4 of them weigh more than this one. At 50.3 lb it is about 7% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

Screws, studs and height

LG lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

43 and 50": The holes are 7.9" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

55, 65 and 75": The holes are 11.8" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

86": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.
