LG OLED B6 wall mount specs: VESA and weight for every size

The LG B6 comes in 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 300 × 200 mm on the 48, 55, 65 and 77" and 400 × 400 mm on the 83". Without the stand it weighs 25.4 to 58.9 lb; the table has the screws and the US model number for each size.

The LG B6 against its lineup

21 of the 35 LG 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 300 × 200 mm. The others use 300 × 300 (9), 400 × 400 (2), 400 × 300 (2) and 400 × 200 (1). 15 of them weigh more than this one. At 37.7 lb it is about 20% lighter than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels.

What changed from the 2025 LG B5

77": 400 × 200 mm and 58.9 lb on the B3, 300 × 200 mm and 50.5 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.

On the 55, 65 and 83" nothing changed from the B5: the old mount fits.

Screws, studs and height

LG lists M6 screws for the four holes. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

48, 55, 65 and 77": The holes are 11.8" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

83": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →

Will a mount from the 2025 B5 fit the LG B6?

Not on every size: the pattern changed on the 77". Check the old bracket's VESA range.

Can the LG B6 hang on drywall without studs?

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32" and 30 lb on rated anchors. The LG B6 starts at 48" and 25.4 lb, so it needs bolts in the studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
