The Vizio V4K-M-0801 against its lineup

4 of the 5 Vizio 55" models from 2024 to 2026 use 300 × 200 mm. The others use 300 × 300 (1). 1 of them weigh more than this one. At 28.5 lb it is about 14% lighter than the 33 lb typical of 55" panels.

What changed from the 2022 Vizio V5M-K

43": 200 × 100 mm and 15.4 lb on the V5M-K, 200 × 200 mm and 17 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
70": 400 × 200 mm and 51.6 lb on the V5M-K, 300 × 300 mm and 49.6 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.

On the 55" nothing changed from the V5M-K: the old mount fits.

Screws, studs and height

Vizio lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

43": The holes are 7.9" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

55 and 70": The holes are 11.8" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 55" screen runs from about 29" to 55" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →
