Samsung Neo QLED QN90F wall mount specs: VESA and weight for every size

The Samsung QN90F comes in 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, 85, 98 and 115". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 200 × 200 mm on the 43, 50 and 55", 400 × 300 mm on the 65", 400 × 400 mm on the 75", 600 × 400 mm on the 85 and 98" and 1000 × 600 mm on the 115". The Samsung QN90F against its lineup

38 of the 53 Samsung 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 300 mm. The others use 300 × 200 (7), 200 × 200 (6) and 400 × 400 (2). 4 of them weigh more than this one. At 53.4 lb it is about 14% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

What changed from the 2023 Samsung QN90C

Every size keeps the QN90C's pattern and weight, so a mount bought for the QN90C fits the same size of the QN90F.

Screws, studs and height

Samsung lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

43, 50 and 55": The holes are 7.9" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

65 and 75": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

85 and 98": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

115": The holes are 39.4" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →

Can the Samsung QN90F hang on drywall without studs?

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32" and 30 lb on rated anchors. The Samsung QN90F starts at 43" and 20.7 lb, so it needs bolts in the studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
