Miami is the market where the quote you get on the phone and the price at the door most often don't match. The reason is almost always the wall: most Miami houses are concrete block, most condos are poured concrete, and many installers price for drywall and add the rest later.

Our Miami prices

ServicePrice
TV installation up to 60 in$119
61–85 in$129
86 in and larger (two technicians)from $179
Fixed / tilting / full-motion mount$39 / $49 / $69
Cables in a paintable raceway$39
Cables inside a framed wall$69
Soundbar$69

Concrete, block, metal studs — same price as drywall. No travel fee from Homestead to Jupiter.

What changes the total in Miami

  • The cable plan. On concrete block, cables can't go inside the wall. A painted raceway ($39) is the norm; if the TV is on a framed interior partition, in-wall routing ($69) is possible.
  • The size. 85 inches is the line: 86 and up means two technicians and a heavy-duty mount. Big-screen mounting in Miami.
  • The mount. Bring yours or buy ours.

What should never be on a Miami invoice

  • A "masonry" or "concrete" surcharge
  • A travel fee inside Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach
  • A fee for the building's certificate of insurance
  • "Parking" charges for a normal visit

Three typical Miami jobs

  • Brickell condo, 65-inch, tilt mount, raceway: $129 + $49 + $39
  • Kendall house, 55-inch on block, customer's mount: $119
  • Weston family room, 75-inch full-motion, soundbar: $129 + $69 + $69

The calculator applies package discounts, so the total there is usually a bit lower than the sum.

Before you book

Check your building's rules (hours, COI, elevator) — we deal with them, but it helps to know. See condo and high-rise TV mounting and, for the wall itself, mounting on concrete.
