In Miami the Samsung Frame is almost a default in new condos: floor-to-ceiling glass, white walls, art on every other surface. It's also the TV that punishes a bad install the most — a quarter-inch gap at one corner and it stops looking like a picture.

Miami walls and the Frame

WallWhat we do
Concrete block (houses)Sleeve anchors into the block webs; check for a flat face
Poured concrete (high-rises)Short sleeve anchors, slower drilling, dust control
Metal-stud partitionsToggles through the stud face; the thin bracket needs exact spacing
Drywall on wood (townhouses)Stud + rated anchors per Samsung's instructions

Concrete walls in Miami are often not flat — a skim coat over block can bow an eighth of an inch across the bracket. That shows up as a gap at one corner of the Frame. We check with a long level and shim or correct before the TV goes up.

Where the One Connect box goes

The hard question in a high-rise: you can't open a concrete wall for a cable. Our usual answers:

  • Console below: the thin One Connect cable drops straight down in a slim paintable raceway — painted to match, it disappears on a white wall.
  • Partition wall: if the TV is on a metal-stud wall, the cable goes inside it to a recessed box or the console.
  • Longer cable: Samsung sells longer One Connect cables to put the box in a nearby cabinet.

Height: art or TV?

Frames bought as art are often hung higher, like a painting. If it's also the TV you watch every night, keep the center near eye level — the height calculator gives the number for your sofa.

Glare

Frames have a matte screen, which helps, but a west-facing Brickell living room at 5 p.m. still wins. We look at the light before choosing the exact spot.

Building logistics

Most Miami condos want a certificate of insurance and an elevator booking. We send the COI ahead and coordinate the time. More: condo and high-rise TV mounting.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Frame TV be mounted flush on a concrete wall?
Yes. The Slim Fit bracket anchors into concrete block or poured concrete with sleeve anchors. The trick is a flat wall — we check with a long level and correct any bow before hanging.
How do you hide the One Connect cable on concrete?
On solid concrete, cutting a channel is rarely allowed or worth it. We run the thin cable in a paintable slim raceway to a console, or use the framed side of a partition wall where one exists.
How much does Frame TV installation cost in Miami?
$169 up to 60 inches and $179 up to 85 inches. In-wall cable routing is $69 on framed walls; a slim raceway is $39.
